Grüße aus Berlin! Set of 4 postcards + 3 stamps
Every Berlin postcard shows the TV Tower. These four don't.
They show the other Berlin — the one you actually live in. Warm light on a slightly tired façade. A street where nothing is happening. That Sunday feeling when every shop is closed and, for once, you don't mind.
All four photos were taken by Berlin photographer Daria Globina, who has a talent for catching the city when it isn't posing. Each card says Grüße aus Berlin! in the kind of old German script your Oma's postcards had — so it's officially a greeting, whatever you write on the back.
This set comes with three Deutsche Post stamps that will take a postcard to any place on Earth — Potsdam or Patagonia, same stamp. Write, stick a stamp on, drop it into a yellow mailbox.
Send them to people who miss Berlin. Or to people who don't understand why you live here (this will not help, but it's a nice gesture). The fourth card comes without a stamp on purpose — that one is for your own wall.
